Alysia Gilliam is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is committed to providing clients with the most comprehensive and effective treatments. Mrs. Gilliam is the owner and Executive Director of a clinic providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities and typically developing children with problem behavior. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Florida State University, and her Masters of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. She has vast experience working with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential facilities, schools, clinics, and in-home settings. Mrs. Gilliam's areas of expertise include the development, implementation and supervision of Verbal Behavior programs for children with autism to teach skills such as language/functional communication, academic skills, social skills, self-help skills and compliance behavior. She also has experience implementing behavior reduction programs, intensive toilet training programs for children who are difficult to train, and intensive feeding programs for children who have very limited diets due to sensory issues or behavioral concerns. Mrs. Gilliam has attended several workshops/trainings on a variety of topics including Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior, Parent Training, Classroom Management Strategies, Social Skills Training, Behavior Reduction, and Toilet Training. She has also conducted parent workshops, staff in-services, and presented at professional conferences.
